You are going to be okay
Every where I look, there’s something bad going on. There’s people taking more and more from the world, there’s people struggling but there’s no one helping them. There's people distrusting each other because they aren’t the same as them.
Some people believe in religion. That god will rise again and take care of us. That he will smite the evil and gift the Earth to the meek. And that they will be okay.
Some people believe in themselves. That they are in the driver's seat and own their life and that they will be okay.
Some people believe that there is no meaning and that life is just a series of experiences that brings them happiness and sadness and as long as they seek the happy moments and experience them, that they will be okay.
You are your life’s hero. You were born against all odds, you are here now. Maybe people helped you along the way. Maybe you got here all by yourself. Maybe you want to leave you house and look at the fountain in the park, maybe you want a moment of peace and quiet. Maybe just being around your family doing nothing is good enough to remind you that there’s more to life than all the sadness outside.
But no matter what, you are going to be okay.
